3D Printer 2

Another build of DIY 3D printer (Ultimaker2 Clone CL-260) – the purpose is for enclosed and high precision printing.  This square designed printer will easier for me to modify it into an enclosed printer.

Some imperfections with the kit, doesn’t feel confirtable with the destortion in the base plate holder – check out the spring hight in the photo it easy to see the different.  Should replase all the bearings with better one in my next maintenance.

After heavily modified the printer – firmware / stepper driver / auto fan cutoff / reposition stepper motor / insert silicon tube into the heatend (jam for few times while printing complex structure).  Here is the precision what I achieved

esp32

A new powerful comer, up to ~240MHz 32bit MCU with at least 16×2 (2 core available) time faster in calculation compared with the one that I currently used for my eBike.  This wasn’t there 2 years ago.  Good thing happen.  Get back to this when I had the time. (^^)

42v 1.5a Charger

A very compact 42V 1.5A Lipo Charger (120x52x32mm).  Good!
Problem- BMS start balancing at 4.18±0.02v this 4.17v won’t kick start the balancing function in BMS.  Need to open it and readjust the voltage.

Battery Alignment

Checking out all the 30pcs NCR18650B’s capacity and build a program to align their combination.  It’s a 10×3 battery pack, 3pcs of NCR18650B together to build up the total mAh.  Currently I had only discharged 24pcs of NCR18650B 6pcs on the way…(realignment result are getting better and better)  Got those NCR18650B from AliExpress Liitokala Store, just too bad they are not close to their normal rated 3350mAh capacity.  hmm, degraded batteries!?

BATTERIES…

T Connector Relocate

Connector Relocate/Redesign.  Hmm, need to move the T connector to the opposite side (^^;

ConnectorRedesign

T connector moved, and the size comparison with stock eBike controller on the market.  My eController is a lot lot smarter.  Looks cool runs cool doesn’t need a heat-sink and it’s wireless.
